From a very young age I was told that I could see the beauty in the simple things, this wonder has stayed with me as I have grown igniting a passion for the arts that has blossomed into my life’s ambitions.

Currently based in Adelaide, South Australia I am surrounded by a creative smorgasbord in a city swimming in inspiring art, gothic architecture and whispers of a bygone era.

Over the past 10 years I have been privileged to call myself a Graphic Designer working across many different industries in various capacities. Having run design departments, freelanced and worked within the marketing realm my career to date has been a roller coaster of learning curves that I wouldn’t trade for the world. Moving into the arts industry is my next major step towards my dream, a scary exciting step.

My ultimate goal is to curate in a Gallery which not only showcases the works of talented local artists, young and old alike, but encourages and supports the artistic exploration of all those who entre. Studio spaces, retail options and music will run free within the bricks and mortar of my gallery. Until then I want to share my work with people, I would love nothing more than to know that my work is hanging in people’s homes, where they are being enjoyed.

My own artwork is a reflection of me, its eclectic, emotive, miniscule yet gigantic and full of wonder. I use many mediums as I believe the greatest talents are never limited. I love exploring the techniques of traditional mediums and the agility of modern mediums, learning the rules as I go, so I can break them once I understand them. Currently I favour charcoals, pastels and photography.

I have started formal training in Art History, Painting and Drawing opening up an amazing world of opportunity. This training forms part of my Bachelor of Arts (Art History) of which I am into the equivalent of my second year, as I read and learn the glittery world of the arts just intrigues me more.

As we venture forth into the unknown, I know 2 things..

  • I have a beautiful family with 4 adorable fur babies and my beautiful fiancé,
  • That I want to make the world beautiful, creating with colours so vibrant that the rainbows themselves will look upon them in awe.
