Monasteries are always colorful. And it is always a pleasant and peaceful experience to be there. But if you are there as a photographer, you won’t just know what not to shoot.The riot of colors, in every part of these monasteries drove me crazy.
This is the shot of a part of the door frame made of wood. Each of those squares in red and orange are 3D features. How much of effort must have gone in to making those, I wondered. Those black nails driven into the frames were hurting.
