Salt to the Wound

I found out today
Of the problems in your life
Found this morning
What you did last night
You had troubles
And I understand
We all love you
And reach out our hands
Things had happened
And you never saw joy
Future full of misery
And life’s cruel toys
Yes, I realize
There was salt to the wound
But I also just wish
You hadn’t died so soon
