A Conceited Goldilocks?

Sitting on a stool craving for simplicity,
A life deep-troubled by man’s duplicity,
Such complexity, immorality, such deceit.
These days no man can you trust on first meet,
Be he Narcissus, Judas or even Moshe Rabbeinu.
My God! Why is altruism too rarely expressed?
- As I munch on my porridge, contented heart’s
Silent beat, like a knocking on the door, loudly starts.
“As ripe ears of corns are reaped, so are lives:
Some stand, others fall” (life is simple)
That is all.
