Sleep Walking Concurrently

There’s fighting on the beaches and mourning in the streets
The whole town is crazy, no-one ever seems to sleep

The keeper of the keys at the beginning of the freeze
Has caught Parkinson’s disease living on his knees
Chasing leaves in the kitchen after hours where the floor’s s’posed to give
While some fine young handsome man has finally closed his hands
Plain clothes left to stand, he’s folding up his arms
Doors left wide open he doesn’t understand after setting the alarm
In the house where no-one ever lives

There’s fighting on the beaches and mourning in the streets
The whole town is crazy and nobody ever seems to sleep
