Innocent Criminal

The procession contemplation
Of traffic wounded heels
Sounds like relief moaning
The stolen ocean seals
Just like once upon a time
When you said it
Like you meant it
With that habit of mine
And all my questions
Difficult revelation rhymes
Bamboozalling even hunches
Of scholar’s smiling fault lines
And those that thought they felt so fine
Momentarily confused
Strangled by the sorrow
Of an endless summer’s dream
Completely bought it
Flushed out
Like hot potato concubines
In the bathroom
Of hearts defined
But which one rides
The innocent criminal of love?

Revisiting legitimate needs
To randomly abuse
With no unwanted property
To properly confuse
Mis-educated business
Liposuction robot dolls
For carpentry catholic
Patience power
Alpha male moles
Sophia Loren
To almost every sleeping toll
Suddenly, apparently
Acceptably cruel
She knows what hurts
Reaches in to test
My missing eve’s bone soul
Will I forgive
The innocent criminal of love?

In this dangerous dance
Of open innocence
My waterlogged
Plankton platform walk
Delights from cosine spoon
To bitter fork
Embracing deprevation cuisine
Seasick stale
But with a second breath
Of winter equinox light
Inherently inhaled
Reissuing my foxymoron
Furniture frown
Heralded by the failings
Of an as of yet
Untroubled town
I make them see
The concrete judgement clown
That don’t do no tricks
For suspiciously blind
Rennaisance clones
Or lead no dissension
Reindeer armies home
But will I abide my trial as
The innocent criminal of love?

In the nighttime of
The despondent immigration process
Reality’s taxes with many hats
Mostly neglected, cast out
Across the floor
Of lifelessness’ lust
Belonging to
Disproportionate heads
Cruelly rearranged
Officially, acceptably
Worn out only
Through the shadow battles
Of the rain’s resurrection
And the sun’s contemplation
Crumbling into one another
At the dawning of the sea
But which one betrays
The innocent criminal of love?

Don’t fudge, dead head
The television alley way
Divided castles can’t stand
The month of may
The fermentation priest
Of the invisible prey
Two tongue tied
With one shut eye
Musing reconstituted tyrants
At some neo-pilot’s
Universal trial
The rooster of humanity’s
Personal redemption denial
Can’t find no alibi
No way back to Eli
Voting for third jubilee
That don’t set nobody free
Scalene office politics
Revolving in its own image
Night courts recycling money
Spent on fertilizer
Insomnia covering up
Wisdom vandalized
But which one hides
The innocent criminal of love?
