Midnight Reminders

Drowsy, Sleepy
Midnight brings
Upon my soul,
Hours of beauty.

Wakeful, pain-filled,
Dawn brings me
Thoughts of
Constant pain.

For only
At midnight,
Could we reunite.
Then when cruel,
Morning comes
My dreams run
Away leaving me
Empty and hollow.

In my dreams,
Two glowing stars,
Stare back at me.
Glowing orbs,
That beseech
Mine own.
Searching
Answers to questions
That have not been voiced.

Smooth hands,
Gliding slowly
Over smooth
Hills and valleys.
Imploring my hands
To follow paths of
Their own.

Two petals parting,
To take in the beauty
Of two succulent pearls.
Warmth emanating,
Entrancing spring
To come into full bloom.

A crescent moon,
Smiles up at me.
Daring me to come
Forth and to conquer.

Sweet heavenly dreams,
Bring upon me the
Winsome fire that
Used to burn in his soul.

Passionate embraces,
Midnight calls,
Joyous hellos,
And our final
Tearful goodbye.

This is what
Midnight reminders
Bring to me.
