nn ms.j sA.w = "No one is born wise"—my favourite quote from Ptahhotep's Maximes (about 2200 BC) (and my personal motto).
This text survived the millennia because it was a basic primer in education, both for writing and for general behaviour. Most of its sentences are still valid after 4500 years... This ortography came from Zdenek Žaba's comparative study, a fulcrum of Ptahhotep studies. Though the form of the hieroglyphs are different from the ancient, it is more like a contemporary student's note. Ancient ones would use more simplifications that would make the understanding extremely hard. But as this was a text for teaching the writing I felt it a kind of honour to write it in contemporary manner.
