I live in sunny Southampton,England with my wife June. Retired, I am able to dedicate more time to my hobbies and interests, which are, photography, photo manipulation, cooking, gardening, reading, sightseeing, chess, painting, a variety of music and computing. Up until I was fifteen, I was known as Les, and as I lived in Hooton in the Wirral, I became known as Les from Hooton, hence my pseudonym “Hootonles”. Since my leaving Hooton I have preferred to use my middle Christian name John.
