I had a wonderful visit to a greenhouse yesterday where it’s always summer! Plants and flowers blooming and through the glass the snow is still piled high. A delightful time until my cell phone fell out of my pocket and into the waterfall where I was trying to do a little re-arranging of the potted flowers. Ahh…there’s always something interesting about an outing with the camera! :-)
There were the most beautiful hanging baskets of geraniums….a flower seen with such frequency as to render it almost common. Yet when I saw the way the macro lens picked up the tiny stamens and the veining, this ‘common’ bloom appeared to me to be quite a remarkable thing.
