The well of tragedy never runs dry.
Daily it’s filled with selfishness, sin and pride;
Dishonor to those in authority, failing to give God glory;
Violence increasing like babies out of wedlock;
We ask the question, “when will it all stop?”
9-1-1, Virginia Tech, and New Orleans:
All devastaions brought on by a God, we thought,
who is mean.
These same devastations brought Nations together
and they began to help one another and pray.
but for a very short monent, thing’s we’re being done
God’s intended way.
Those who we’re rich began to send millions to the poor;
Some even vowing to take it to their doors.
Bank accounts over-flowing some have more than they know what to do;
Yet the motto still holds true.
What God has blessed me with is mine;
Maybe you’ll get yours in time;
If he Blessed me, he can Bless you too……
Just one little thing………………………………….
Could it be that God Blessed you, that you might bless me;
That everybody reach back, that there be no lack and there would end proverty?
Men sent off to Iraq, U.S. under attack;
Gas prices fluctuate,
innocent lives we have to take;
Was it a mistake?
Devastations reaped from sin have these and other expected ends;
There’s nothing that shall come before us, that warning has not called;
but by ignorance of the very thing that could save us, is where we fall.
Until we let prayer back in, the devastation will never end!
