A native of the Pacific Northwest, I’ve always found the world a fascinating place full of wonders, but only since starting photography seriously have I really begun to see. I’m drawn to visual interest as much as subject, resulting in an eclectic portfolio, and I often look for details, close shots, shadows, or unusual angles that I hope will engage the viewer to see a little differently as well. Photography, and improving my skill and vision as a photographer, have become a passion.

I’m also a colored pencil artist and digital artist, and I love working with textures and other tools to alter photos for artistic effects.

There are days when the stress and worry of long-term unemployment gives way to a moment when the compensations come into play.
