Paul Elizabeth Hickson was born in Torquay, England in 1989 to parents Jennifer and Geoffrey Hickson. The latter, the night prior to his son’s birth, had lost a poker game down at the local pub, meaning he would either have to hand over £500, or in lieu of payment, name his new born son Elizabeth. Paul was educated at Stradbroke High School in Suffolk where he quickly developed a skill for being stuffed into lockers and hung up on coat hooks by his underpants. He graduated with respectable grades, except in Mathematics where he managed only a D due predominantly because he was too busy trying to write the word ‘boobies’ on a calculator. Upon leaving school, Paul went on to take up stamp collecting, but after finding it much too exhilarating he decided to slow things down a bit and pick a much more sedate hobby such as photography. His early work failed to impress however, but after realizing he was supposed to remove the lens cap, his work improved exponentially. In recent years Hickson has made the move into the literary domain, scribing such unmemorable plays as Bruce Willis the musical, My fair Stallone, and perhaps his most unmemorable work, A street car named Ford Fiesta

I'm back

Hey Redbubble family, hope you’re all doing well. I just thought I’d send you a quick journal post to let you all know I’m Redbubbling again. It’s wonderful to be back after a very long and difficult 6 months away dealing with the loss of my Father. The difficulties of reading a book when family are around

It’s often been said that Christmas time means family time. This may be true for you, it’s certainly been the case for us Hickson’s ever since Great great great grandpapa Hickson declared back in the Christmas of 18-dickerty-7 that every Christmas the entire family should convene at a predetermined location and celebrate the holidays together under one roof – this declaration said amid hostile fa…

Biography of a cardigan lover

So I thought it was high time that I updated my bio. Yep, I reckon my current one is a little out of date seeing how it says things like ‘I just mastered the potty and I start big school in September.’ / So for the new one I figured I’d hire a biographer to write it. Now I know it’s a little OTT but I just hit 150,000 views and, well, inevitably it’s all gone to my h…

The worst host on Redbubble

It’s a big step there’s no denying it, perhaps the biggest of steps some would argue. I mean once you make that leap there’s no going back, nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, you’re hooked for life. But it’s not like I haven’t thought about it though. I’ve thought about doing it tons of times but you know how it is the time never seems right, what with work, money and Game of thrones all taking pre…
