15 months with Micro Four Third System

I have spend 15 months with Micro Four Third System so far. The journey has been liberating. I was first attracted the the compact factor of the Panasonic DMC-GF1 camera, and the smaller size interchangable lenses.

Soon after the purchase, I realise that there are many adaptors available on the Micro Four Third mount to adapt lenses with manual settings. I am soon addicted to the second hand camera markets and the “treasure hunting” of old lenes.

There is a good selection of affordable, large aperture manual lenses that suits my style of photography, and I am enjoying the manual settings quite a bit. I see the world quite differently with each of the lenses, and love that altering new point of view.

This new year I will focus on exploring the strengths and weaknesses of my new tools and fine tune my techiques. I’ll be taking more time of less photos.

More to come. Hope you enjoy the result so far.
