Artist's Description

Vitlycke in the province of Bohuslän is declared World Heritage thanks to its splended riches in carved rock images. Many such carvings litter the countryside around this site.
In my calendar I am presenting images from Vitlycke and Massleberg in Bohuslän and from Högsbyn in the nearby province of Dalsland. They belong to the same fishing, seafaring and farming culture as in southern Norway.
The titles of the different images are of course my personal interpretations of them. If the origin is not mentioned in the title, the image is from the Vitlycke ceremonial rock.
