Intrusion

In the pacific ocean the waves roll endlessly, unfolding over one another enclosing mysteries of unknown creatures.

I laze on my back bathing on the surface.

My body glistening, almost glowing, I paddle slowly enjoying my freedom.

Suddenly an unexpected wave comes and smashes me against the jagged rocks nearby.

I come away beaten and bashed,

Humans come and prod my lifeless body.

They disect me bit by bit and find out what I am made of

I spit on them, hate them for their intrusion.
