Friends like You

Friends are like leaves on the wind,
They blow in from all directions
Some leaves are red and some are yellow
Like autumn in Canada

Friends are like paintings in galleries
They hang out in rooms
Wearing fancy clothes
And get talked about constantly

Friends are like Cupcakes
They are sweet and colourful
With jewelled adornments
Like the pearls from shells

Friends are like the Sunshine
They are warm and bright
Some are hot and full of smiles
With hair that shines with fire

Friends are like atom bombs
Personalities explode on impact
Leaving debris for miles
Nothing like a good fireworks display

Friends are like coffee
Two sips and you’re hooked
A socialising paradise
Like now I have to join CAA
(coffee association anonymous)

Friends are like you
A passion for life
Creativity pours out of you
And a smashing good looker too!
