Artist's Description

This is a small lino cut I did of an Australian endangered Spotted-tail Quoll, which is a small carnivorous marsupial that is rapidly disappearing from its normal habitat. It disappearance is due to predation, loss of habitat and competition for food from introduced feral species. Attempts are being made to breed and re-introduce this charming little creature back into areas around Canberra (and elsewhere in the country) where is was once common.

The original lino print was hand pulled and printed using water based inks.
