Artist's Description

FEATURED in Life in the City, Suburbs Or Bush (05/13)
FEATURED in A Place To Call Home (04/13)
Seen under the Coronado Bridge, walking to Barrio Logan and Chicano Park, in San Diego.
What is the story of this person? Notice the three books to the left…
This person, even in his down and out situation, enjoys reading…something our modern generation in decent homes, and comfortable beds with their ipods and pads and social media, seems to have forgotten about.

There are SO many homeless people AND families, including former military…in San Diego.. not everyone is a derelict…..hard times, a sick economy and corporate GREED has resulted in a population of homeless and destitute souls.

I invite the Senate and Congress to come on down and talk to the homeless who live under bridges such as these..here in Southern California. then, go and vote to bring back the jobs that were outsourced as a start to fixing our unemployment situation … and government housing to help these folks restart their lives.
It is all well and good to want to "save " people in war torn and third world countries but CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME.. time to look at the human beings in our own backyard….
♥ This photo is dedicated to these victims.♥
