The Centre Glade

Deep in the darkest forest I lay my love for you
So dark the creeping winter trees look on to spy a view,
In the beauty of a moon lit glade
We show our love in pure lust.

In this deep Nordic forest
Where Vikings likely stirred,
I feel the passion of fire growing
It rages through our veins,
I feel the ancient spirits watching
As we call each others names.

Love with every passionate beat
As our hearts sync and our bodies collide,
Reaching down so deep
You reach a second glade inside.
Dwarfed by nature
I tame the trees with my passion screams
The trees no doubt(if they could) would shed their leaves
To seem more dressed for such an occasion.

The cold winter biting touch
Cannot dispel what we want so much
This magick moment we waited for
The one thing I haven’t felt before.
With every breath
With every beat
(With every twig stuck in our feet)
We reach the climax, the ecstasy.
Together forever
We will never forget
The millennia that passed in seconds
And the feeling of reaching the heavens
We will never forget.
(and neither will the trees)

Artist's Description

A poem I wrote to practice writing about making love.

You wouldn’t guess I was listening to black metal whilst writing it… thats a joke(the forest, winter… darkness… the screams… its all black metal symbolism)
