Upon the grass we lay
Listening to sounds of yesterday
A homestead maintained from long ago
Eminating secrets from historical woes.

Encircled by hills of green
Many a tree to be seen
Energy of convicts passed
Hardworking, stoic their memories last

This is a place of many a tale
Societal structure do avail
People treated according to rank
A free trip to Australia – who do we thank?

Wisdom held on ageless branches
Trees of timeless beauty around this ranch
Preserved, revered they stand around
Protectors, guardians of this grand home.
