A day of changes

Today was freezing- winter has pounced with a vengeance. We had sleet. The air was freezing and the rain came down. Not good torrential rain rather a smattering of water washing across the dust bowl we call our hometown. Clouds hung heavy over the ranges filled with freezing cold water obviously not brave enough to discharge the contents.

For me personally it is a number five day. A day of changes. The rain has tip toed over our roofs what other changes can we expect? This morning while I was driving to the shopping centre I saw the police pull over a man. He virtually fell out of his car wobbling and slobbering. One can only wonder how his senses have been embalmed as he tried to navigate his car down the road.

While standing in the post office I watched a young boy reach into the back of his pants and scratch his behind. He then proceeded to touch packages and toys on the shelves. I considered how many little juvenile germs now lay dormant just waiting to pounce on some poor unsuspecting child.

Today I pulled the Fool for one of my major arcana cards. Does this mean I must play the fool all day? Or should I be foolish on purpose? I don’t think so! Although it’s a nice thought isn’t it?

Can you imagine how much fun you could have with twenty four hours driven by a “devil may care” attitude? We live our lives abiding so many rules what if we could run amok for just one day? What would you do?

Enjoy your day and beware the brightly colored toys at the post office.
