Across the fields of Manchester

As I cycle across the hills of Manchester,
I look down on the valley,
The sun is shining, the sheep are grazing,
And the butterflies are flying free.

The fields are filled with flowers,
Oh I love the smell they give.
I pick the daisy’s one by one,
And make a daisy chain.

The long and bendy streams,
Flowing towards the river,
The countryside is beautiful this time of year,
It must be spring again.

The views they look amazing,
As I see the life below,
The children in the gardens,
Singing happily as they go.
