Artist's Description

This very small indigenous bird (near-endemic to South-Africa, occurring across much of the country, excluding the Kalahari Desert and extending into south-eastern Botswana) commonly occur in gardens, especially when fruit trees are bearing.
They are hyperactive and not generous with photographers!. Their name Cape White-eye, derives from the white fringes around the eyes that make them look like they are wearing glasses.
