silent screams

My tears fall cold like bittersweet snow
Sorrow rips its way through my dying soul
My hands tremble and shake
Another part of my heart painfully breaks
Sitting alone in my room
Daylight will be coming soon
But now all is cold and black
Happiness has departed, never to come back
My vision hindered and blurred
All of my pain somehow deserved
Drowning in the covers of my bed
Remembering every word that was never said
Depressed, alone, and wondering why
No answers, merely more tears to cry
Does anyone else know what loneliness means?
Can’t anyone hear my silent screams?
