So pretty, I too would love to see originals
so beautiful. Great work!
And not so easy as it may look. I can’t recall how many days it took me to paint that sky, but there are at least one or two intermediate colors between those that appear.
In other words, there were 5 primary colors and about 10 intermediates, premixed, and it probably required a minimum of 20 attempts, over a period of a month, to get the ‘sky’ right – or, at least, what passed for ‘right’ with me in those days – when I was a much younger man.
I very much doubt that I could paint the same picture today; my powers are waning.
As for where the painting is, it belongs to my erstwhile physician, Jim Feldbaum, who took care of me ‘pro-bono’ for many years. We were alumnae at the UTMB, Galveston, TX a long time ago.
If you want it, I imagine he’d probably sell it cheap. But he’s a great guy – just not much of an art connoisseur.
Hope this helps.P&L,CC
