Lucinda, this looks absolutely terrific in black and white! I love the detail on the rocks, the composition, the midtones captured on the rocks. However, I noticed that you encourage critical reviews and in the spirit of the learning process I must point out that the highlights here seem too hot (the snow and the water). This water was raging and a faster shutter speed/darker exposure may have helped preserve those details in the falling water. The overall view, though, is incredibly powerful and very dramatic due to the contrast and b/w, and I very much enjoyed!
Thanks Murph for your comments and suggestions about shutter speed. Very much appreciated. Will try your suggestions when I’m near a raging waterfall. Thanks.
Superb work again Lucinda – congratulations on your deserved features.
Thanks Bob. Always enjoy your many visits & comments!
