Dawn Breaks

The silence of the night
Softly touched by the gentle hand of the morning sunrise
Tender whispers of stirring birds greet the fading shadows of darkness
Witnessing the rebirth of nature
Colors blooming, mixing…melting into the glorious wonders of natures grandeur
One can swear he hears Angels singing in this special moment of time
A sudden rustle…a young fawn finding her way back to the family nesting ground
I smile and slowly reach to touch you
My hand feels the cool breath of the morning air
And falls upon an empty void…
A space that was once warm and vibrant with the body of a sleeping Angel
I realize that you are gone and I now know the true meaning of loneliness……
