Artist's Description

Looking up to the stoney face of George Washington – one of the Presidents sculptured by by Gutzon Borglum in the granite face of Mount Rushmore near Keystone, South Dakota. By July 4, 1934, Washington’s face had been completed and was dedicated.

This photo is taken from the South Dakota Highway 244 (originally known as the Norbeck Way) now called the Borglum Memorial Highway.
