Artist's Description

This brown, white and black moth was sitting on the ground in a carpark and I nearly trod on it as I approached my car. To save it from being driven over I picked it up and attempted to place it on a nearby bush. It would not get off my hand, so I got back into my car and drove the 40 kms to my home with the moth contentedly sitting on my right hand. I got home and held the moth next to a large log in my garden and it immediately disembarked. This is when I took the photo. It stayed for a few hours then disappeared.
