Artist's Description

Duranbah beach is New South Wales’, northernmost beach. The rocks in the forground lead onto Point Danger just to the right of the image. The rock in the middle of the ocean horizon is Cook Island off Fingal Head. Where the sea meets the land is Fingal Head. The light at Fingal Head is the lighthouse there. The river at the far end of the beach is Tweed river. This image is captured on the New South Wales side of the border.
