Artist's Description

It has been raining heavily. The river has risen about 1.5 metre, and the boat has collected water from the rain also. So the old man is pumping it out of his old boat at the relatively new Cundletown jetty. No that is not a snake in the Manning river, it is a stick, part of the flotsam and jetsam being flushed out to sea by the flooded river.
