Artist's Description

A view of Saint Philip’s Cathedral, central Birmingham, England. This is the western tower, completed in 1725. The church became a cathedral in 1905 when the diocese of Birmingham was created. It has a great glass west window, seen here photographed from inside and reversed and placed in position to emulate strong interior lighting. This is a 5 image HDR created in CS5, although the people and main window are masked out to show them from a single image. 239 views 17/04/2013.
