Erin Vaganos

Pelham, United States

Loses herself in books, finds herself in the sea, hears the trees and stars whisper her name.

Erin Vaganos grew up in the backwoods of Northern Pennsylvania, just outside the Finger Lakes region of New York. She learned to draw by copying Dad’s old drawings of motorcycles and hot-rods, sitting at Grandma’s table with her Ed Emberley books and scribbling on Mom’s stacks of old computer paper (the kind you had to tear off the perforated edges), and studying her worn-out collection of oversized Walter Fosters from the 60s and 70s.
