Artist's Description

Bt cotton was introduced in 1996. The economic, environmental, and social benefits derived from the adoption of this crop have very positive implications for the farmers, their surrounding communities, and the future of agriculture. In Australia the majority of the cotton grown in GM, which means that farmers use 89% less pesticides or none at all.
