Artist's Description

This is Greenwith Uniting Church, Golden Grove Road, Greenwith, South Australia. The chapel was built on land donated by Mr Paul Roberts of Greenwith Farm. Masonry work was carried out by tender at 2/6d per yard by Mr George Robinson from mid 1863. The stone for the walls was carted from nearby creeks and the bricks for the quoins were transported by bullock wagon by Members of the Salisbury Methodist Church. It is still used as a church today.
