Artist's Description

This watercolor is part of a series of photographs taken here and there for Teramo; a walk that took me from the square of the parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary along Corso San Giorgio, passing through the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, running along a street between two wings of buildings that took me to the door of the Madonna. From here I went down to the train station. .

The country is clean and also its streets, silent and deserted; only a dog lying in the shade of the trees can enjoy the coolness like a man sitting on the doorstep.

In the morning a greengrocer with his van, at the end of the road leading to the village, offers fruit and vegetables at kilometer zero.

I wander through the small historic center that takes me quickly to the two historical emergencies: the Baronial Palace that consisted of a drawbridge and is divided into three floors. It is currently the town hall and has a small bell tower with clock.

With the original photographic shots I realize digital watercolor painting, submitting them to processing steps in the post-production computer.

An ascetic artist, slow by birth and by choice, I live a slow journey of work, practicing creative idleness; I walk slowly, meditatively. contemplative, always attentive with 5 senses + 2 heart and mind; the camera always in my pocket, allows me to take notes whenever there is something that strikes me and excites me and then turns it into a visual work of art
