Artist's Description

This beautiful young woman is one who lived a great wonderful life. Unfortunalty we lost her this past Thursday. She was 86 years old and I am very proud of her. She struggled through 3 strokes, unfortunalty it was the 3rd one that took her life.

Funny story about her, a few weeks before she passed away the VON nurses left after they had finished their daily duties. She then decided that she wanted a cup of tea. So she gets her tea and drinks it, however being who she was, she could not leave a dirty cup in the sink so she decided to wash it. As she finished washing the cup she went to sit back down in her wheel chair but the breaks were not on. The chair went out from underneath her and she fell breaking her hip.She was rushed to hospital to have an operation done on her hip. The operation was a success however she took a stroke shortly after. The stroke left her paralyzed so she was unable to walk/eat or do anything for herself. Now I know it is sad that I find it funny but It is a funny story with a sad ending.

She was my Great Grandmother, she lived a long life of 86 years old, and she will be missed a lot
