Artist's Description

St. John’s Co-Cathedral is really an amazing site to see. Built in the late 16th century, its exterior looks rather severe and almost more like a fortification than a cathedral, which is perhaps not too surprising, since it was built for the Knights a of Malta and designed by a military architect. The interior, however, is a very different story. Baroque in style, it is extremely richly and elaborately decorated, as this photo of the altar dome indicates. Shot with my Nikon D7000.
