Artist's Description

People who suffer from a fear of heights and of hairpin turns on narrow roads carved into mountain faces would probably shoose to avoid travelling on the Atlantic Ocean Road in Norway. If they should venture to drive on this road, however, they might be especially unnerved when they came upon the scene shown in this image, which might well make them feel they are about to have their journey suddenly abridged (pun intended). It would be a great shame, though, to miss the drive along this road, Yes, the tight turns and the height and the series of eight bridges of which the one in the photo is the highest can be somewhat hair raising. But the scenery all along the way is magnificent and well worth a bit of roller-coaster stomach! Shot with my Nikon D7000.
