Artist's Description

Radiance of the Seas is a Royal Caribbean cruise ship. While it is almost identical in design to at least one of Royal Caribbean’s other ships, it is very different in that respect from the ships of other cruise lines. While most cruise ships, for example, have a central area (usually called the Atrium) that is 3 decks high, the central area of the Radiance is called the Centrum and is 8 or 9 decks high. It also contains an interesting artwork that continually changes in appearance as light projections in all the colours of the rainbow are played over it. This is a photo of part of the Centrum, showing the lit artwork and the coloured tube type lights that frame the “balconies” overlooking the Centrum from each deck. Shot with my N ikon D7100.
