This is the start of the Woodlands walk trail in the Yanchep National Park, 50 kms north of Perth, Western Australia. This is just one of 8 walking trails in the park and is the one we did yesterday afternoon as it is always particularly good for wildflowers at this time of year. This was processed in HDR..

Peaceful. Will definitely have to factor the park into a holiday! Lovely shot.
Thanks Mik. There is a brand new motel just opened, overlooking the lake in the park. And there’s always the Yanchep Inn which has a pretty good name. Peter
This is a beautiful trail. I would love to walk there. Our terrain is so rugged that there is no such thing as a leasurely walk. Lovely, Peter. Hugs xx
Thanks Lori. We are on the coastal plain – once the sea bed – so it’s nice and flat for 20 or more kms inland until you reach the ranges, which were once the cliffs! But that was all just a little before my time! Hugs, Peter
Outstanding work !
Very many thanks, both for the comment and for adding it to your favourites. Peter
Gorgeous and beautiful colours.
Thank you Irene. It’s not the walk we do most often but it’s a good one nonetheless. Peter

The good weather’s been and gone despite today being officially the first day of Spring. Will probably pick up later in the week though but we are still down on rainfall for the year so far. Thanks for dropping in. Hugs, Peter
