Pleasant bay is a very small community on the western coast of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada. It’s connected to the outer world via the Cabot Trail, the world-famous road which encircles the northern part of the island and contains Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Autumn is a fabulous season , with the hardwoods bursting into a blaze of colour, the Atlantic Ocean usually calmer than other times, and the air crisp and clean. No pollution for a great many miles!
