Artist's Description

Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. Steep cliffs of the Rocky Mountains, crevasses filled with the rubble and debris of avalanches and landslides through the ages, and yet the trees manage to gain a foothold, take root and gradually evolve into a forest.

September 4, 2009, Fuji S100FS camera.
