A brisk Atlantic Ocean north-easter hits the coast of Nova Scotia south of Halifax, along with gusts of heavy rain and curtains of mist in between. As an experiment, I used a haze filter for this shot, although it wasn’t really haze in the true sense. In truth, I’m not sure if it really made much difference. I took several shots with and without and I can’t decide if I can really see any effect. This one has the filter. The biggest problem was keeping my balance in the wind as I was perched on the end of the farthest-out rock edge that I could get to. Should have done these things when I was a lot younger!
