Artist's Description

In the tiny villages along Nova Scotia’s shore of the Bay of Fundy, fishing has to be coordinated with the rise and fall of the highest tides in the world. The high-water mark can be seen on the sides of the wharf, and a relatively small amount of water is in the harbour. When the tide goes all the way out, these boats will be left high and dry until the next inflow from the Bay. Summer of 2007, Sony DSCF828 camera.
