Artist's Description

Saint John, New Brunswick is known for being a very foggy city. At any time of the day the always cold Bay of Fundy can deliver up a wall of fog, thick like a good chowder. This small peninsula of land west of the city sits high on the coastline, catching all this moisture. The north side of the peninsula looks like many other wooded areas, but the south side is where the fog really settles, leaving everything, especially the forest floor covered in moss.

Captured with Mamiya RB67 Pro-S, the taking lens is the standard 90mm Sekor, I had Ilford Delta 100 loaded in the back. I set the aperature to F32 and the shutter was 1/15. The setting was metered with my trusty Minolta Spotmeter, and the camera was mounted on a Slik 340 tripod. Cable release in the Mirror Up, to retain a razor sharp image.
