Nature and God

How curious is the song of nature:
While out in the open
and amongst nature itself,
I listen.
I hear the song of the birds:
they chirp, they twitter, they sing.
How happy they sound
as they sing in the trees and sky.
They send messages
to each other
through the air,
and yet
each bird is alike
yet different
from the other.
There are many species,
but, each song is different,
like a unique language.
Yet, they seem to communicate,
each of them
with the other.
How curious is the song of the bird.
How simply beautiful
are God’s creations.

Artist's Description

I was amongst nature itself one day, in a canyon, surrounded by trees, I lay a blanket down on the grasses, I had a pad and pen with me, and I started to write. As I listened, I heard Birds chirping all over the place, they flew accross the trees, and they chirped back and forth. They “seemed” to be talking to each other… in different ‘bird’ languages, it intrigued me…. this poem was inspired by this moment in time….
