I enjoy exploring, sharing my images and also enjoy other peoples marvellous arts/views of the world through their eyes. So amazing. It...

Nature’s tranquillity and beauty is balm for my soul …. to “recharge my batteries” – supercharge my soul, I explore! Have adventures! Meet lots of lovely people. Life is for FUN – enjoy it…don’t be scared…don’t put off till tomorrow things you wish to do – do it NOW !!!! SMILE at anyone, and they’ll smile back – a two-fold benefit for the day…puts a glow inside you. Enjoy life! To notice things in life as you walk along, (and look behind every so often), driving, kayaking …. the sun and it’s glow through the trees; the sparkle of dew or ice on petals and leaves; cloud patterns as they whisk past in the sky; the ripples on an otherwise glass-like surface of water or sand; the patterns on leaves fallen on the ground. And not waiting to capture the moment later on the return trip – it is NEVER the same! These are some of the things I notice, often subconsciously till “it” sparks my interest.
I enjoy “awakening” people’s eyes to the beauty around them – just stop – look up, and around – listen – admire. Explore – enjoy what is around the next corner that you haven’t yet explored. Turn left OR right from your driveway – is it a law that you have to have a definite destination in mind when you set out for a day of pleasure? What a GIFT it is to experience something startlingly beautiful or unexpected. A cute rabbit bounding across a busy street in town!!! A horse and dog nudging noses over a fence. I am usually just a “point and shoot” photographer – something grabs my eye and I automatically “shoot”. I enjoy my work as a medical receptionist and also love escaping the office environment to get back outdoors! Healing mental health – I find that in nature – it is my medicine for work stress – to “see” the beauty around – “hear” the silence – “smell” the fresh air – absorb the goodness of life. And it is a big bonus to drive around, exploring with a friend – whatever mood you’re in – a “down” day can turn into laughs so quickly, with an unexpected view of beauty, or something comical happening that is unexpected….and you didn’t think you had a laugh in you. And also to turn a “bad” day into good – so easy – just NEVER say a bad thing – everything has to be positive on this day – it is interesting how MANY positive things there are to notice.

I had 2 of my images short-listed – the list is currently of 30 photos, for Tasmania Enjoy! publication. These will be whittled down to just 10 images for the 4 page feature in the magazine. / I would be THRILLED if anyone “liked” my images enough that i actually had an image, or two, published. / https://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=566745353345058&set=a.5667452133…
