Artist's Description

This photo could have been taken in 1880 if it weren’t for the power lines. I converted it to black and white to make it look more historic. It’s a church in Tinonee, near Taree NSW Australia. I’m not sure what denomination it is, but there’s an Anglican church just down the road. So maybe the Tykes got there first hehe. Anyway, it’s typical of churches in small villages. I hadn’t realized until some years ago that all churches are built on a hill until a friend pointed it out. It’s so they can be seen by everyone in the village to remind them to turn up for Sunday service or else! And don’t forget money for the plate! Fuji S7000
